I like how far you go in looking at the symbolism in this dream, the government building and bus, meaning society, the exercise to walk away form it, the warmth of the air. I think lightening bugs stand for illumination and enlightenment. I too love Jungian psychology and dream work.

Interesting web site. I will be coming back often to listen in. If you visit my site, you will find that we share a similar passion for symbols and Jungian Psychology.

I enjoyed reading some of your posts dealing with word meanings. It reminded me that when we're trying to decipher what certain dream symbols might be trying to convey, another channel of understanding could be found in etymology -- especially when our own personal associations for the images aren't shedding any light on the dream's meaning.
